Scott is passionate about corporate sustainability and a firm believer in the responsibilities of business to play their part in solving the climate crisis. He has worked in the energy and sustainability sector in the UK for 30 years, with great focus on supporting organisations in reducing their impact on the environment and increasing their societal value. During his career he has championed energy reduction strategies with many of the UK’s largest companies and has been influential in the development of the Energy Managers Association in the UK where he has just finished a 2 year term as non-executive Chairman. Scott is the Chief Operating Officer of Planet Mark, one of the UK’s foremost sustainability certifications and net zero emissions programmes for organisations of all shapes and sizes.

Scott joined the Global Good Awards Judging Panel in 2023 and Planet Mark have been sponsors since 2020.
