Jon Khoo has over a decade’s experience working in sustainability and purposeful business. In his former role as Head of Sustainability (Europe and Asia) at flooring manufacturer Interface he focused on the commercialisation the company’s sustainability initiatives on circularity and embodied carbon; with Interface being recognised with a UN Climate Action Award in 2020. Jon was also part of Interface’s award-winning Net-Works partnership with the Zoological Society of London and yarn supplier Aquafil – an unusual collision between the worlds of conservation and carpet, which transformed discarded nylon fishing nets into social, economic and environmental benefits. Jon is also the chair of Surfers Against Sewage, an environmental charity committed to protecting our ocean and coastlines by empowering ocean activists across the UK.
